History

 GALM has been in existence since1990 but it was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2015.  It was established as an informal social organization by a critical mass of Ghanaian professionals in the healthcare and higher education sectors who immigrated to London in early 1990s.

It was turned into a formal organization with elected leaders in early 2000s and incorporated in 2015.
